The First 50 Miles Big Cedar 2016 at Dinosaur Valley State Park 50 Mile Race
This will be my first 50 mile race starting at 3:30 a.m. this Saturday 11/5/16. I believe I finally have my nutrition nailed down. I will be drinking a blend of EFS and Carbo Pro as I am running and boosting a few additional liquid / protein calories at the end of each 16 mile loop. Goal is average between 11 and 12 minute miles taking short walk breaks at the end of every 5th mile. Very much looking forward to seeing how I do! I will check in after the race.
